Welcome to Blue Mesa Ranch

Blue Mesa Ranch is a small, family-operated ranch in the outskirts of Santa Fe, NM.  We are located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains and only a 20-minute drive from the heart of Santa Fe.  Our primary interest is in breeding, training, and selling only the highest quality trail and driving horses.  Our breeding and training program focuses on the Rocky Mountain and Haflinger horse breeds. Our Rocky Mountain stallions and mares used in our breeding program are Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) registered. Several of the breeding stock are dual-certified with both RMHA and the Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association (KMSHA). All of our Haflingers are registered with the American Haflinger Registry (AHR).

Our Rocky Mountain horses are selected for superior disposition, temperament, conformation, natural gait, color and foundation bloodlines.  At this time most of our Rocky Mountain horses are varying shades of chocolate with either white or flaxen manes and tails.  Our Haflingers are selected for superior disposition, temperament, & conformation.
