 Midnight Mickey (Aug. 2007)

Midnight Mickey

Mickey is a beautiful 15 hand velvet-black mare (born 4/25/1989). She is both registered and certified to breed by the Rocky Mountain Horse Association. She is an excellent example of old Rocky Mountain bloodlines, as she has the temperament, stamina and super smooth gait personified by the Rocky Mountain horse.  She has Johnson’s Tobe/Kilburns Chocolate Sundown on both her sire’s and dam’s sides.

 Midnight Mickey (Aug. 2007)

Mickey is great for any kind of trail-riding and also perfect for novice riders. She has spent many hours in the Rocky Mountain back country, trail-riding over all sorts of terrain as well as carrying hunters and packing game and gear. You could say that “she has been there and done that” many times over.  Mickey is one of those horses, who when listened to on the trail, can be depended upon to keep inexperienced riders out of trouble. You could not find a horse with broader experience or a more solid and sensible “life view.”

Mickey is up to date on all shots and Coggins.

Asking price $6500.00

Sandy

Sandy (May 2007)
Sandy is our only non-Rocky Mountain horse, a really sweet 3 year-old filly (born 2/17/2005).  As of Nov. 2008 she stands at 14.3 hands.  She is a beautiful liver chestnut in coloring, with a white star on her head and white socks on three of her legs.

Sandy comes from foundation cow-horse stock.  Her sire Go'in to Dream Again ("Rocky") is a prize-winning foundation halter Appaloosa.  Her dam Forever Omega ("Lou") is a foundation quarter horse, going back to Wimpy, Leo San and Poco Shane.  Sandy has the classic broad chest and compact but strong build that should make her an excellent prospect for trail or performance horse purposes.  Sandy has a really easy-going temperament and is exceptionally people-friendly.  She will steal your heart away in just a few moments if you're not careful!

Sandy (Aug. 2007)

Sandy is current on all shots, Coggins, and worming.  She has finished her ground work and has been ridden frequently from the time she went under saddle in August 2007 (through late fall 2007, and again through the spring/summer 2008 season).  Much of her time is spent trail-riding.  She enjoys being out on the local trails and is getting acquainted with lariets and cows.  Sandy readily leads on halter, picks up her feet and stands quietly for the farrrier.  She trailer-loads, stands tied, and walks over practice bridges, logs, and other obstacles.  She accepts worming meds and has a really smooth trot.  Now is an ideal time for you to finish her off as desired (trail horse and/or cow horse?), a super prospect at the price of $3,500.
