Hazen's Nellie
Hazen's Nellie is a lovely black filly who was born to our dark chocolate mare Nala on May 24, 2007. Her sire is Menifee Mountain Gambler, a gorgeous, award-winning foundation black Rocky stallion. Nellie’s dam and sire both come from old foundation lines: Nala’s lineage includes Kilburn’s Chocolate Sundown on the sire’s and dam’s side as well as Buddy Roe/Sewell’s Sam; Gambler’s lineage includes Buddy Roe/Sewell’s Sam and Dock/Choco and Sam Clemon’s Tim on his sire’s side, and Johnson’s Toby/Kilburn’s Chocolate Sundown/Tobe and Chocolate Drop/Tobe on his dam’s side.
Nellie
has superb conformation, with a beautiful long mane and tail, & the great disposition Rockies are so well known for. She often shows off her smooth Rocky gait while romping
in the pasture. Nellie leads well; she also picks up her feet and
stands quietly for the farrier. Nellie is currently undergoing basic ground training work.
Nellie is registered with the Rocky Mountain Horse Association. She is offered at $3500.
